Acolytes

Acolytes help begin the 9:30 worship service by lighting the alter candles. They extinguish the candles at the end of the service. Older acolytes also help with the offering and communion.

Adult Choir

Perform anthem at 9:30 Sunday services, and special music for holidays. Everyone is welcome to join; no audition necessary. Come to practice if you are interested. Child care provided.

Kourtney Strade

Audio/Visual

Perform sound checks with worship leaders prior to services and monitor system during services. Create graphics and operate equipment for graphics that are shown on the screen in the sanctuary during services. Create DVDs of church services.

Bill Byrd

Liturgists

Lead the opening prayer and read the scriptures at the 9:30 service. Liturgists arrive at 9:00 to prepare for the service.

Sunday Bulletin

Work with the church secretary to produce the weekly bulletin that is used for Sunday worship services. The bulletin must be printed, folded, and ready for use by Sunday.

Ushers

For the 9:30 service, distribute registration pads. Receive the offering. After worship, collect the registration pads and straighten up the pews.

Worship

Consult with the pastors about future sermon series, ensure supplies and flowers are available for regular services and for special services like Easter and Christmas.
