Outreach
Easter Egg Hunt
Each Spring the church sponsors an Easter Egg Hunt for the children of the church and the neighborhood. The event kicks off with a parade lead by the Easter Bunny to Lafayette Park in search of eggs. Afterwards there is a plenty of time for crafts, food and fellowship for children of all ages back in Fellowship Hall.
PrideFest
Each year the church participates in PrideFest. This gives us a chance to welcome members of the LGBT community and invite them to experience our church.
Pumpkin Patch
Each Fall the church sponsors an old fashion Pumpkin Patch. For 3 weeks in October our parking lot is transformed for harvest! Schools groups and families all drop by to experience the hunt for the Great Pumpkin.
Neighborhood Halloween Party
What better way to close the Pumpkin Patch, then to have a Neighborhood Halloween Party! A safe way for the children to have a great time.
Blessing of the Animals
The blessing of the animals is conducted during the month of October in churches all over the world in remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi’s love for all creatures. It is a special day for us to come together and thank God for the joy our pets bring and remember the ways animals enrich our lives. |
