All women are invited to join in fellowship and service to the church. Activities include Breakfast with Santa, a festival at the pumpkin patch, ice cream socials, baby showers, wedding showers, cooking meals for Shalom House, and this year they will host a Cinco de Mayo dinner. WCDANs make the baptismal banners, the large worship banners and other banners for the seasons. They also make baby layettes for Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL, for premature babies that die. This year they are sewing a quilt, selling the squares to raise money. Last year's fundraisers were used for apportionments, paying for the rubber coating on the stairway, the new ice machine, the new freezer and other church needs.
